Prof. Oluwafemi Flora Tobolayefa is the 3rd substantive Vice-Chancellor of Nigeria Maritime University (NMU). She is a seasoned microbiologist and accomplished academic who previously served as the Foundation Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) of the University (NMU) and was a former Head of Department at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. Her appointment by the Governing Council of the NMU was announced by the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Mr. Abdullahi Bardi, at a briefing on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.
